      LSRO's Reduced Risk Review Population Effects and Behavior Assessment Committee (PEBA) met for the first time on the FASEB Campus, 9650 Rockville Pike, Bethesda MD, on June 8-9, 2005. The PEBA members present were Gregory Gasic, PhD, Harriet de Wit, PhD, Bill Eadington, PhD, Warren Bickel, PhD and Heping Zhang, PhD. The Committee was joined by three members of the LSRO Core Committee: Alwynelle Ahl, Ph.D., D.V.M.; Richard C. Schwing, Ph.D.; and Richard Windsor, M.S., Ph.D., M.P.H. The LSRO staff members present were Catherine St. Hilaire, Ph.D., Michael Falk, Ph.D., Daniel Byrd, Ph.D., D.A.B.T., Keith Lenghaus, Ph.D., and Carmen Mones, B.A.

The goal of the meeting was to orient the PEBA Committee to the project, and included discussions about the scope of work, project organization, and background materials.

The next meeting of the PEBA Committee is scheduled for August 30-31, 2005 at the FASEB building, 9650 Rockville Pike, Bethesda MD.
